FaceBook blocking OccupyWallStreet

Wow, just posted on facebook, on my status, wondering how many people were seeing my OWS updates, and apparently NONE of them are going thru. SO now, it look's like FB is going to start filtering what you say and do as well, as impose changes on you that arent wanted, or needed.
I didnt beleive in any of this conspiracy stuff, and considered most of the doomsday seekers as radicals, but this last week, I have seen some things that have truly amazed me. The media is not covering what is happening in NY very well at all, and when the media did cover it, they twisted things around. I know this, because I have been watching th live feed on livestream, of what is happening. And what the media reports is completly different.
I know, I know, I sound like some sort of radical extremist, standing on a street corner yelling about the end of the world, But i can say honestly, that I am not. I am keeping my mind and my eyes open, and considering everything before I make a decision.
All I know for sure, is that some of this, is right on the money. Thanks for reading, Theron

OccupyPortAngeles

Well, the occupy wall street has finally started to gain momentum, now that the Labor unions are behind the movement. I am surprised at the lack of information on the subject. I am goion to start an Occupy Port Angeles movement to support the people that are working all across this country, and to help spread the word.
The biggest problem i have, is that their is a lack of funds for me. Just getting into town to spread the word requires bus fare. And the cost of materials is another issue. i will be taking donation's at my PayPal account @ foureyes779@gmail.com, to help out.

Occupy Wall street again

Been following the occupy Wall street activity, for the last week or so. I have found that although I can follow the concepts that they are trying to convey, it is still very frustrating that they do not have a clear message yet. How is it possible to blindly follow all of this, when you do not know where it is heading. People from all colors and idea's are in on this, and I feel that this could turn into a good thing, if the outcome means a better economy, and more jobs. While i have a soft spot for the cause, I still have things that I have to get done, and can not let the protest's occupy all my time (OccupyMyTime).
Another little pet peeve of mine, was the protest's group that is in Seattle. I had been following the IRC (Internet Relay Chat) channel on indymedia's servers, and had seen some things that just rubbed me the wrong way. One ,was that their is an aggressive group that are involved. These people stand a chance of undermining all the hard work that is being done in New York city, by painting the entire group as a bunch of radical, violent protestors. It is a shame that a small group can do this. Another thing that bothered me, was the whole tent issue. The Mayor of Seattle, had issued a statement, that he actually supported the activities happening in westlake, and that the solidarity movement was a good thing. All he asked was that, since other groups also had permit's to use the park they are occupying, that they take down the tents. Rather than working with the mayor, and finding some sort of compromise, they just refused to take the tents down. If they continue with their arrogance, they are going to lose the Mayors support, and possibly make the whole movement look like a bunch of extremist's, just looking for a fight, while whining about the state of the union.
Ok, enough of this subject, back to work I go. Thanks for reading. Theron

Occupy Seattle

Just read this on the OccupySeattle Facebook page, so I thought I would pass it along.

We had a successful overnight group of about 30 people. Donations and support continued through the night! The only things we need are tape, flyers, batteries (if we get the megaphone again), shelter, and blankets if you can put a call out." - Erin @ OccupySeattle, Westlake. 206 778 1221 is the number to reach her at! Thanks everyone!

So, if your in the area, and their is ANYWAY that you can be helpful, be sure to give Erin a call. And be sure to check out their facebook page, to find different way that you can support this movement.

Occupy Wall street

There is a Revolution going on in this country, and no one has seemed to notice. The Major networks are barely covering the story, and what does get posted is usually wrong.
this is a peaceful protest, going on in NY, and until Friday afternoon, i had not heard a single bit of news on the story. You have to wonder just why, with this big of a protest, why their isnt any media coverage. Is it because of the big corporations, who control the media, or something else. Not one word from the president, for or against any of this. Meanwhile, grassroots groups are forming all over the country.
We, the people, are fed up with the governments constant use of our tax dollars, funding wars and paying other nations, while we go broke. The main theme, is that we, the 99% who are going broke, are making the 1% of this nations richer. The 1% being the fat cats in big corporations, as well as wall street.
I am glad to see this happening in our country, and would like to see this mvement carry on, until we all unite, in peaceful protest, and take over. I would like to see it go even farther, but the likelyhood of that happening right now seem pretty bleak.
Here's to the people of New York, for standing up for all of us, while we sit in our heated homes, monitoring what is happening across this great nation.....Occupy Wall street!
